On this production I was Costume/prop Maker and Wardrobe Mistress

​

I made light up costumes for a dance routine for this production in the space of a couple of weeks due to the ones ordered from America not turning up. I also made the fairy's staff which lit up with a switch. 

​

The light up costumes had switches with battery boxes that I made myself. These were sewn into the pockets with a zip for easy access for turning on and off. 

​

The fairy's staff was made using an old walking stick and I added EVA foam to the parts along with leaves and accessories, This also had a battery pack inside the clear ball. 

​

I also painted the two "dog" masks to make them look a bit more realistic for the production.
