Inspired by the Fan Art by Nord-Sol.

I created the base mask using a vac-former with a ready made plaster casted mask.

using clay, I created the desired design over the top of the plastic mask.

I then poured plaster over the top of the clay and once dried, I cleaned out the mould by carefully removing the clay. Once all the clay was removed, I painted over a few layers of shellac over the plaster mould. Once dried, I used a few layers of paper mache to create my mask. This meant that it would be light to wear.

Once I popped out the mask from the mould, I used a mixture of polyfiller and pva to create the wooden texture and painted using acrylics.
